EBEN AIDOO:

Hi! I’m Eben from Ghana. I’m a professional dancer specializing in Afro dance, and I have taught at dance schools all over Finland. I’m passionate about teaching and always love to see my students enjoy themselves and have fun in class. I push my students to their limits, encouraging them to have fun and enjoy the moment while in my classes. There’s always fun and sweat in my class, and I can’t wait to share my knowledge with you all!

AFRO DANCE: STEPS & FOUNDATION (KLO 16-17.30)

In this workshop, we’ll focus on Afro dance steps and their fundamental techniques. You’ll learn a variety of moves from different Afro dance styles, while also diving deeper into the background and technique of each step — where the movement comes from and how it should feel. We’ll take our time to break things down, so the steps become familiar and dancing feels relaxed and confident.

Tällä workshopilla keskitymme afrotanssin askeliin ja niiden perustekniikkaan. Opettelemme monipuolisia liikkeitä eri afrotanssityyleistä ja syvennymme askelten taustaan ja tekniikkaan – mistä liike kumpuaa ja miltä sen kuuluisi tuntua. Käymme asiat rauhassa läpi, jotta liikkeet tulevat tutuiksi ja tanssiminen tuntuu rennolta ja itsevarmalta. Workshop sopii kaikille, eli et tarvitse aikaisempaa kokemusta afrosta!

AFRO DANCE: CHOREOGRAPHY (KLO 18-19.30)

In this open-level workshop we’ll bring together many of the Afro dance steps we’ve learned and combine them into a fun and feel-good choreography. The focus is on enjoying the movement, building confidence, and having a great time while dancing. This class is all about good vibes and great energy — you don’t want to miss it!

Tällä avoimen tason workshopilla yhdistämme aiemmin opittuja afrotanssiaskeleita ja rakennamme niistä hauskan ja hyvän fiiliksen koreografian. Workshopin tavoitteena on liikkua rennosti, nauttia tanssista, vahvistaa itsevarmuutta ja ennen kaikkea pitää hauskaa yhdessä.

Tämä workshop on täynnä positiivista energiaa ja hyvää meininkiä, jota et halua jättää väliin!
